What we collect

• Usage information. The pages and app screens you open, which stock pages you view, and when. The app also sends a short ping every few minutes while it is open, so we can count active users.
• An anonymous app ID. The app creates a random ID the first time it opens. It is not linked to your name, email, phone number or advertising ID.
• Device details. Whether you use iPhone or Android, and the app version.
• IP address and approximate location. We record the IP address your device connects from, and look up its approximate location (country, region and city) through a geolocation service. We do not use your phone's GPS.
• Your acceptance of the Important Disclosures. When you tap "I Understand and Agree" in the app, we keep a record of it: the date and time, the anonymous app ID and your phone's device ID for our app, your phone's make, model and system version, the app version, your language and time zone, your IP address, and the version and full text of the disclosures you accepted. We keep this record to show which disclosures each user accepted, and you are asked again whenever the disclosures change.
• Messages you send us. If you use the Contact Us form, we keep your name, email and message so we can reply.

Push alerts

To send you alerts, the app shares your alert choices, your favourite stocks and a push token (an address for your phone that Apple or Google issues through Expo, our push service) with us, together with the anonymous app ID. We keep a record of the alerts we send so the app can list them. We use this only to send your alerts. Turn alerts off in your phone's settings at any time.

What stays on your phone

Your theme and text settings are saved only on your phone. The app has no accounts and no login.

How we use it

We use this information only to run and improve Trade Navigator: counting visitors and app users, seeing which screens and stocks are used, and fixing problems. We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties, except the service providers that help us run the site (web hosting, IP geolocation, and Expo for push alerts).

How long we keep it, and security

Usage records are kept as long as they are useful for our statistics. Records of disclosure acceptances are kept as compliance records. Information is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.

Your choices

You can stop all app data collection by deleting the app. To ask what we hold about you, or to ask us to delete it, email support@daytradesignals.ai.

Children

Trade Navigator is meant for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
